Function
In the role of .NET developer at Uniway you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of various web applications. You develop mainly in C# and put your knowledge at work in order to deliver high quality internet, intranet, extranet and e-commerce applications. Projects include pure custom development in .NET as well as complex sites (with a high visibility) around web content management systems (WCMS) such as Ektron or Tridion. You will work in team alongside other passionate .NET developers dedicated to delivering high quality results. Based upon your preferences and ambition, the possibility exists to evolve more into portal technology. In that case you will mainly work around SharePoint (development and configuration).
Your main accountabilities will include:
- Contribute in the design and outlining of .NET sites & web applications (with the analyst and / or architect)
- Deliver superb .NET web applications
- Develop .NET based sites that exceed all customers' expectations
- Add value to the sales cycle by giving input to your commercial colleagues (presales)
- Add constantly to the .NET competency within Uniway
- Train customers and users
Your profile
- Higher education in IT (minimum Bachelor level)
- A broad interest in developing web sites and web applications
- Experienced in .NET, ASP.NET and C# development
- Communication skills in both national languages and in English
- Knowledge of CMS systems or portal technology is no must but a definite plus
- You are a team player who is not afraid of working autonomously
- Motivated to learn and evolve professionally
