System Administrator Junior (ref:saJ11)
Function
As our new system administrator you will join the infrastructure team dedicated to keeping our infrastructure up to date, available and fast. Since Uniway is an official Microsoft partner, we have all recent technology running in house (or plans to upgrade to the latest version) and access to elaborate customer support. You will need to learn about new products and how to install & maintain them. Together with our experienced team members, you face the challenge of constantly improving the Uniway ICT infrastructure and keeping it cutting edge. You will further help Uniway employees and customers in resolving their issues.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in Server administration (Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL)
- System upgrades and migrations
- Configuration of new desktops, laptops and peripherals
- Assist in new product evaluations
- User and customer support (1st & 2nd line to technical people)
Your profile
- Team player displaying curiosity and inquisitiveness
- A analytical mind with proven problem solving skills
- At least a Bachelor degree in Informatics
- Experience in a comparable role
- Affinity with Windows Administration (Active Directory)
- Technical knowledge or willingness to learn
- Security / Firewall / Networking
- French and Dutch speaking with good language skills in English
- Experience in Unix administration will be appreciated as a plus
