Web Integrator (ref: wi11)
Function
As web integrator with Uniway you’ll develop web pages using hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You start from a graphical file and integrate this with a custom backend (.NET, PHP or Java) and / or a CMS (SharePoint, Ektron, Drupal, Tridion, etc.). In this role you’ll work closely together with the software engineers to complete the integration of new applications and services. You’ll further debug cross-browser issues, making sure that sites look great in all sorts of browsers, ranging from Firefox, Opera and Safari to IE6 and all later IE versions up until the very last version.
Your profile
- Degree in Design and / or in Informatics (minimum Bachelor degree)
- Extensive knowledge of web technologies notably HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of graphical tools such as Photoshop or Fireworks
- Dedicated to upholding W3C standards
- Eye for user-friendly and great looking user interfaces
- High energy, motivation and strong team player skills.
- Interest in marketing, communication and commerce through internet
- Experience & knowledge we’ll consider as aces up your sleeve:
- Working experience with .NET framework is an asset
- Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3 and media queries
- Extensive knowledge of Jquery
- Knowledge of Flash / Actionscript
